Director Venkat Prabhu's next film will be called Party


The film will star Sathyaraj, Nasser, Jeyaram and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

Venkat Prabhu, director of Chennai: 600028 (2007), is ready for his next project, Party. The director made the announcement at the audio launch of Geminiganesanum Surilirajanum.

Venkat Prabhu will be directing this film for his long term friend and guide, producer T Siva who owns Amma Creations. It is no secret that Venkat Prabhu shares a great rapport with Siva, who, incidentally, also introduced Yuvan Shankar Raja as a music director.

The film will mark Amma Creations' 25th year in the Tamil film industry.

Party reportedly has a huge star cast that includes actors Sathyaraj, Nasser, Jeyaram, Ramya Krishnan, Jai, Shiva, Sampath, Chandran, actress Regina Cassandra, actress Sanchita Shetty and Nivetha Pethuraj. The film is expected to be shot on the Fiji Islands.

Actor Premgi Amaren, who has made an appearance in every one of Venkat Prabhu's film will not be seen in the film though. However, he will be a part of the film as its music director.
