Director Ashwni Dhir is contemplating a sequel to Son of Sardaar (2012), and Dhir has already held talks with Devgn, according to a news agency report. Last year, Devgn had announced a period film Sons of Sardaar – The Battle of Saragarhi. This period film is different from the Son of Sardaar sequel.
“We are planning on doing Son of Sardaar 2. It has nothing to do with that project (Sons of Sardaar). Ours is a different film, it will be a comedy. I had a meeting with Ajay regarding the comedy film, who also has a cameo in my up coming release Guest in London. Something will happen,” Dhir told Press Trust Of India news agency.
Devgn is currently working on two films — Milan Luhtria’s Baadhshaho and Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again. Dhir is gearing up for the release of his next, Guest in London that is to be released on 9 July.
