After the success of Ventilator (2016), Priyanka Chopra’s next Marathi production is titled Kaay Re Rascalaa. The quirky title has made heads turn. So, naturally, there is keen anticipation for its trailer to know what to expect from the film.

But, surprisingly, the makers have released a song from the film before the promo. Titled ‘Kohinoor,’ it is sung by Sonu Nigam and Meenal Jain.

It is a typical romantic number where the two lovers, played by Gaurav Ghatnekar and Bhagyashree Mote, break into a soothing song on wide, picturesque locations. But this is the imagination part which takes place while the romance between the guy and the girl is commencing.

The song has cute moments of Ghatnekar asking for Mote’s number through email. They look good together, at least in this song. Ghatnekar is known for playing Krishna in the TV series Dharamkshetra.

‘Kohinoor’ turns out to be pleasing to the ears because of Nigam’s talent and range of voice. He is ably supported by Jain. The music direction is by duo Rohan-Rohan, who had also composed the music of Chopra's Ventilator.

Kaay Re Rascalaa is directed by debutant Giridharan Swamy. He has been a cinematographer for films like Mee Aani U (2013) and Well Don Bhalya (2016).
