Priyanka Chopra's Mary Kom fights for a cleaner, #Chakachak Mumbai

Cleanliness seems to the topic in vogue these days. From Akshay Kumar to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, everyone has been promoting the idea of cleanliness in the country. Actress Priyanka Chopra is not far behind. The actress put up a picture of herself as a part of wall art plastered across the flyovers of Mumbai, promoting cleanliness.

The actress, who is a part of Viacom's #Chakachak Mumbai campaign, was immortalised in wall art by the artist Rob (popular in the show Art Attack). The painting was put up on the Jog flyover in the city. The campaign began at the end of last year, and is now receiving appreciation from people.

The actress tweeted the artwork featuring her in the Mary Kom avatar. The tagline for the artwork reads 'Knock The Trash Out Of The City'. Chopra wrote on her Instagram page: 'Change begins at home and I'm proud to be featured as part of this wall art in Mumbai by @viacom18. #ChakachakMumbai'

Appreciation soon came from Viacom18's Group CEO, Sudhanshu Vats who tweeted his thanks to the actress.

Chopra is not alone. Farhan Akhtar is the other actor, whose avatar as Milkha Singh is painted over the same flyover.

The artwork is also a sign of Mumbai's growing interest in street art and murals depicting their favourite cinematic moments. Bandra, Juhu, Andheri are some of the prominent locations where these works of art can be found.
