Anushka Sharma is currently excited for her film with Shah Rukh Khan, titled Jab Harry Met Sejal. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film is all set to be released on 4 August.

But amidst the promotions and marketing for the film, she has also begun shooting her next, titled Pari. Directed by the first-timer, Prosit Roy, the movie looks like a thriller. It is the third film to be made under Sharma's banner, Clean Slate Films after NH 10 (2015) and Phillauri (2017).

But this time, they have tied up with Kriarj Entertainment. The production house had backed last year’s successful Rustom with Akshay Kumar. Their next movie, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is also with the same actor.

Speaking about the collaboration, Sharma had recently said, "At Clean Slate Films, we focus on a good, engaging story above all else. With new talent, we get to work on newer ideas and innovative concepts. Pari is a great script, and I have complete faith in Prosit’s vision as well as this collaboration with KriArj Entertainment."

Although Pari has gone on floors today, the first look poster of the film is already out. It was tweeted by Sharma with the caption, “Pari...First Look @OfficialCSFilms @kriarj @paramspeak #PariFirstLook.”

There is spook written all over the poster as Sharma is seen giving a scary look wearing blue contact lenses. The font used for the film's title also gives away a lot in terms of the genre of Pari.

The last film under Sharma's banner, Phillauri, dealt with the horror theme, although it wasn’t a horror film.

Pari also stars Parambrata Chatterjee. He is known for his act as the cop in Vidya Balan’s Kahaani (2012).
