After Gangs Of Wasseypur (2012), Kick (2014), Badlapur (2015) and Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016), Nawazuddin Siddiqui will once again play a ruthless evil character in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. But the actor believes there is nothing wrong or questionable about it.

"When a hero does the same type of roles for 35 films, nobody questions him. If I do just three gangster films, I am asked this question. I have also done good mannered roles like Manto, Maanjhi, The Lunchbox, Mom and Freaky Ali," said Siddiqui during the trailer launch of the film.

He also added that he is not interested in playing one dimensional characters. "I am against playing two types of characters — an out and out hero and an out and out villain. That time is also over now. Even our heroes are doing grey shaded characters. I love such characters as they are close to reality. We all have good and bad qualities," he said.

For Siddiqui, reality matters the most as he believes filmi heroes don't exist. "These (his type of) characters exist in real. They are around us. I don't like playing characters that don't exist. The kind of hero centric films that we see, such characters don't exist. Just think, can you see them anywhere?"

Directed by Kushan Nandy, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz will release on 25 August.
