Badrinath Bansal aka Badri is finally here. The first teaser for Sashank Khaitan's much awaited sequel, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is out, and Varun Dhawan is front and centre in it.

The actor plays Badrinath Bansal aka Badri in the sequel to the hit, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya (2015). While the first film had Dhawan play the loser in love to humorous results, the sequel sees him posing for his first profile photograph. The teaser though has no sign of his co-star, Alia Bhatt. The chemistry between the two leads has been one of the reasons for rising expectations for Khaitan's film.

Set in Benaras, the teaser does capture the rustic atmosphere of the place, and its language. As Dhawan's Badri poses for the photograph, he is bullied by the invisible photographer to strike the right pose. From correcting his crooked smile (Shah Rukh Khan ho kya?) to telling him to pose right, the photographer makes Dhawan work hard, till he snaps. Irritated of being constantly corrected, Badri finally reacts to hilarious results.

The film is being directed by Sashank Khaitan, and is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film is expected to arrive in theatres on 10 March.
