The year 2017 looks to be a banner year for Anushka Sharma’s film production company, Clean Slate Films. Sharma ventured into production with 2015’s NH10 directed by Navdeep Singh. This year, she has the romantic comedy Phillauri starring herself, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma lined up for a March release, while another film, Kaneda, is also under production.

Today, Clean Slate Films tied up with KriArj Entertainment to produce a film together this year. Anushka’s brother Karunesh told Times of India newspaper, “We are happy about this association. Both production houses share a common vision — to provide strong content to discerning cinema viewers.”

KriArj Entertainment is founded by Arjun N Kapoor and Virender Arora who have co-produced Rustom (2016) and the upcoming Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017). Kapoor also told TOI, “There couldn't be a more fitting partnership. Clean Slate Films has shown consistency in providing quality content. We look forward to a long-term collaboration.”
