Though not as traditional or grand as Vin Diesel's welcome, the superstar was cheered by the papparazzi and fans outside Mumbai international airport.

After the much-publicised Maharashtrian welcome for Vin Diesel in India, it was the turn of global superstar Jackie Chan to receive a rousing welcome on his visit to India. However, Chan's arrival wasn't as grand as expected.

Sporting a pink shirt, denims and a hat, Chan was received warmly with the traditional teeka and garland as he came out of Mumbai international airport through the VIP exit. Chan was accompanied by his co-star Sonu Sood. Chan is in India to promote his maiden Sino-Indian co-production, Kung Fu Yoga.

The tight security did not allow the horde of mediapersons gathered at the venue to get close to the superstar. Chan was happy to oblige the shutterbugs as he posed Kung Fu style.

Chan will hold a press conference for Kung Fu Yoga after 3 pm at JW Marriott Hotel today. A special martial show will be organised in honour of the martial arts legend. Buzz is that Salman Khan may be attending the event or may host Chan in the evening.

The superstar had first come to India in 2013, when he kick-started the China Film Festival in New Delhi. This is his third visit to the country.

Kung Fu Yoga is set to be released on 3 February.
