Nawazuddin Siddiqui's dark, humorous, and wacky role in Shlok Sharma's directorial debut, Haraamkhor, has piqued the interest of cinephiles. The film's latest teaser only gives us another reason to watch the film.

The teaser begins with a lovely anecdote of a kid walking up to Siddiqui complaining of the pickle on his homework book. Not missing a beat, the teacher replies 'Ye mat poocho kaise aaye, khush raho ki aaya."

The teaser is timed perfectly to provide an optimistic touch to the new year, with Siddiqui playing the witty, dry-humoured teacher to perfection.

The film is a bittersweet story of love, childhood and life set in a small town in India. Siddiqui stars as a school teacher, with Shweta Tripathi among the cast. Told from the viewpoint of children, the story carries touches of humour that make it one of the must-watch films of the year.

Haraamkhor is directed by Sharma, and is set to be released on 13 January 2017.
