At the end of the first week, the film has earned approximately Rs77 crore nett in its first week worldwide. Its gross figures across the world stand at Rs110 crore approximately in that period.
Khaidi No 150 marks the comeback of Chiranjeevi after nine long years. He last appeared in Shankar Dada Zindabad in 2007. After that film, the actor concentrated only on his career as a politician as the founder of Praja Rajyam Party.
Despite being out of action completely for almost a decade, his fan following doesn’t seem to have faded.
Khaidi No 150 is the official remake of AR Murugadoss’ Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi (2014). Chiranjeevi plays a double role in it. Apart from him, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, and Tarun Arora in the role of the villain.
