What works in the Hollywood flick's favour is that the franchise’s earlier film xXx: State of the Union (2005) had bagged around US $2 million from India. Producers are likely to be hopeful of Padukone's presence to boost the India collections.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Dangal saw a drop in its collection with the Friday figure standing at Rs1.9 crore (approximate). The Khan-starrer made Rs44 crore in three weeks, breaking the record by PK (2014) which had bagged Rs41.61 crore. Dangal’s total domestic figure so far stands at Rs349.54 crore.
