It is natural for a sequel to be compared with the first film. In the case of Jolly LLB 2, it is all the more evident since the first film had a different actor playing the protagonist. But it seems Akshay Kumar, who starred in Jolly LLB 2, doesn't like being compared with Arshad Warsi from the first film.

During the success interactions for Jolly LLB 2, when he was asked about the comparison, he sarcastically said, "Abhi koi ladaai hui nahin hai. Koi comparison ho nahin raha. Jabardasti aap comparison karoge. Phir woh kuchh poochhegi. Phir main kuchh bolunga. Phir Arshad kuchh bolega. Phir aap log maze leke ghar chale jaoge [There is no rivalry or comparison. You will forcefully compare. Then I will say something, Arshad will say something and then you will happily go home].

He added, "I liked Arshad's film. He liked mine."

Furthermore, Kumar credited co-actors Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor who have received high praise for their acts. "Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor are the biggest pillars of this film. When you go out of the film, you remember them. Sayani Gupta too. She has done a wonderful job," he said.

Director Subhash Kapoor shared an interesting fun fact from the shoot. "Akshay used to joke that I have six actors from NSD (National School of Drama) and four actors from FTII." Kumar laughingly added, "And I am from Khalsa College."

In the same event, Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios, announced that they will be making Jolly LLB 3
