Shah Rukh Khan made his foray into acting through television series, Fauji. Recently, it was revealed that the show would have a re-run after more than 25 years. This, obviously, brought delight to his huge fan following.

And now, the actor has been invited to be a guest star in American sci-fi series, Dirk Gently. This could be assumed from the Twitter conversation Khan had with the series' producer, Arvind Ethan David.

Dirk Gently is the TV adaptation of a novel of the same name. The conversation started off when Khan admitted on Twitter about him being clueless that the TV series is based on a book. He wrote, “Dirk Gently is a TV series!! And I didn’t know it! Woe be upon me. Sorry Adams. The pic is for no apparent reason.”

David replied to this with, “Amazing to discover that @iamsrk is a #dirkgently fan. Come guest star in #Season2.” But as he didn’t get a reply from the actor, he wrote, “It’s possible I got a bit too excited that #ShahRukhKhan likes #dirkgently -- do you think he noticed?”

However, Khan gave a pleasantly surprising reply to this saying, “Let me know the time and place. Will figure out my own accommodation!” This was enough to excite David, and he replied, “Done and done!”

Let’s wait and watch if this materialises into something!
