Actor Aamir Khan has offered his condolences on the passing away of actor, writer and director Neeraj Vora. Expressing his sadness, Aamir said in a statement, “Neeraj was a close friend, a collaborator, a vibrant force of life. His tragic illness and then demise is a loss not only to those close to him, but also to the creative world.”
The 52-year-old Khan said he was still unable to come to terms with the sad news. “His sense of humour will be missed sorely. Laughter travelled with him. Even as I am writing this, I cannot believe that he is not with us any more. Thank you Neeraj for all the joy you brought to my life. I will miss you. My heartfelt condolences to all in his family” added Aamir.
Neeraj and Aamir made their acting debut together in Ketan Mehta’s Holi (1985). Since then, the two shared the screen several times in well-known films like Rangeela (1995), Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995) and Mann (1999).
