Producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran, who has produced three films in the Tamil industry (Nalanum Nandhiniyum, Sutta Kadhai, Kolai Nokku Paarvai), has claimed that the original story of Ajith's Vivegam, which is now running in theatres, is actually the story of his upcoming film I - Na.

The producer, in a lengthy post titled 'Height of Betrayal' on his Facebook account, has claimed that the original content on which Ajith's Vivegam is based is actually his story.

The producer said that he had come up with this story in 2013, after a research of about one and a half years. He claims to have narrated the story to one of Ajith's associates, who was to then contact the star for a narration session. However, the associate, returned after three weeks, saying that Ajith would not prefer working with a new director, therefore, a narration would not be possible.

The producer now claims that when he saw Vivegam, he realised that around 60 per cent of its content, along with its screenplay, was stolen from his story.

Chandrasekaran, however, has made it clear that he holds neither the actor, Ajith, nor director Siva responsible. According to Chandrasekaran, the associate is the wrongdoer and has demanded an apology from him immediately.
