Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi poster: Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal trying to get chummy

It’s wedding season for the Patels. The first poster for Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi has actors Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal taking centerstage. Kapoor is trying to make a stoic Rawal crack a smile.

The film, directed by Sanjay Chhel and presented by Cinekorn Entertainment and Bholenath Movies, also stars Vir Das and Payal Ghosh. Its tagline on the poster reads, ‘Dhol, Dhokla and Dhickiyaon’ promising fireworks from the two families who will meet for a wedding.

Rishi Kapoor also shared the poster on his Twitter account saying, "I think this will be very enjoyable. Sanjay Chhel directs Vir,Payal,Prem Chopra,Paresh Rawal and me."

Rawal last worked with Kapoor on Aa Ab Laut Chalen (1999) which was Rishi's directorial debut.

The trailer for Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi is due to be out on 22 August, while the film is set to be released on 15 September.
