Shraddha Kapoor confirms bagging Saaho with Prabhas

Shraddha Kapoor will romance Baahubali star Prabhas in Saaho. Kapoor will make her debut in the Telugu and south Indian cinema with the action thriller. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho will be shot in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil, simultaneously. The Bollywood actor confirmed the news via a tweet

A report in Pune Mirror tabloid quoted the producer (Nahid Khan) saying, “Shraddha is the perfect choice for the role. We are excited to have her on board with us. Saaho is Prabhas’ first film in Hindi and so it is very special for all of us. It is an ambitious project and will have some really high-octane action scenes.”

Buzz has it that Kapoor beat the likes of Anushka Shetty, Katrina Kaif and Pooja Hegde for the coveted role. Prabhas has emerged as a huge star after the phenomenal success of the Baahubali franchise.

An extensive set has been created at Hyderabad's Ramoji Studios, while the film will reportedly be shot in Romania, Abu Dhabi and locations across Europe. Saaho is expected to arrive in theatres next year.

Meanwhile, Kapoor will next be seen in and as Haseena Parkar that is set to be released on 22 September.
