Anu Malik to recreate two classics from original for Varun Dhawan's Judwaa 2

Varun Dhawan is on a high. Not only will the young star step into Salman Khan’s shoes, but he will also dance to two chartbusting tracks picturized on Khan in Judwaa (1997).
As with the original, filmmaker David Dhawan has roped in Anu Malik to compose the music for Judwaa 2. Malik will recreate the 'Oonchi Hai Building' and 'Tan Tana Tan' tracks for the remake. Malik had composed and sung the songs for the original and he will repeat his act with the new film. The new songs will be keeping in tune with current sensibilities, however.
The composer has already begun work on ‘Oonchi Hai Building’.
"When I was recording 'Oonchi Hai Building', it was as if the clock had turned back," Malik said. "To re-create the feel, I played the harmonium while singing, like I had done for the original. Sandy, who has worked with me, and Davidbhai were brought back as sound programmers. We have merged two antaras into one long chunk for the new song and made the beats catchier. We will be re-working 'Tan Tana Tan' as well."
David Dhawan’s 1997 rom com saw Salman Khan in a double role with Karisma Kapoor and Rambha playing his heroines. Two decades later, Dhawan hopes to recreate the magic with son Varun. Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu play his heroines.
If you haven’t tuned into the two original tracks, you can enjoy them below. Judwaa 2 is scheduled to be released on 29 September.
