MAMI Awards: Diamond Island and The Lady Of The Lake take away biggest glories

The week-long Mumbai Academy of Motion Pictures (MAMI) Festival was wrapped up last night in Mumbai in a glittering closing ceremony. And today, the organisers have announced the list of awards won by films participating in the festival. 

In the International Competition, David Chou's Diamond Island won the Golden Gateway Award. The second prize in this competition called the Silver Gateway Award was won by Ralitza Petrova’s Godless. 

As far as the India Gold, the Indian category, is concerned, Haobam Paban Kumar’s The Lady of the Lake took away the biggest glory. Satish Babusenan and Santosh Babusenan’s The Narrow Path took home the second prize. The Jury Grand Prize in this category was bagged by Aicheng Jai Dohutia's The Hidden Corner. 

In the Dimensions Mumbai category, Santosh Ganpat Kamble’s Mumbai's Mahuwa, Tabu Kaariya’s Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh and Yashwardhan Goswami’s Bombai won the Golden Gateway, Silver Gateway and Special Mention awards respectively. 

In the Half Ticket (children’s films) category, Laha Mebow’s Hang in There, Kids! Won the Golden Gateway Award.

India Gold category:
