He is nursing a broken heart, following his much publicised break-up with Katrina Kaif. He is disappointed, but not depressed. Ranbir Kapoor spoke to leading magazine where he has given a peek into his state of mind.
“I’m emotionally closed. Not unavailable. I find it hard to express myself whether it is happiness, sadness or anxiety. It would be a big waste of money putting me with a shrink. I wouldn’t say a word. I would try and manipulate the entire session and cage him,” Kapoor told Filmfare magazine.
It’s a tough time indeed, but the actor is not ready to give in to his loneliness. On the contrary, he seems to be making the most of it.
He says, “I find peace in my grandmother’s place. Sitting on the swing. Looking at nature, playing with my dogs. I’m not uncomfortable with loneliness. I’m happy taking a holiday by myself. I’m happy going to a restaurant alone, eating alone, visiting a theatre alone,”
Ranbir and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have shot together for the magazine and their chemistry is evident from the sensual and riveting pictures. He's 34 and she's soon to be 43. Though odd, Ranbir and Aishwarya make for a great pair. The release of their film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is 10 days away but fans have given already given a thumbs to their pairing, after watching their romantic and intimate scenes in the promos.
Sadly, buzz has it that such scenes may have been trimmed by the Central Board of Film Certification. Nevertheless, fans have been waiting to hear from this odd reel life pairing.
Kapoor comments on his chemistry with the experienced actress. “Age has nothing to do with love. Someone once told me you have to be with a person with whom you want to grow. And not with a person who will teach you and grow you up. You can be in love with someone 19 years junior to you or 1 year older than you. And it will work the same way,” Kapoor told Filmfare.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will release next week on 28th October.
