The John Abraham-starrer has taken a beaten at the ticket windows.
Box-office report: Force 2 lacks the necessary force, Tum Bin 2 slumps

Abhinay Deo’s Force 2 didn’t garner a positive opening at the box-office on its first day. The John Abraham starrer opened only to Rs5.25 crore. This, coupled with the fact that the film didn’t receive a positive word-of-mouth left it with little hope.
And the inevitable has indeed come true. Force 2 didn’t recover much over the weekend as it earned Rs6 crore and Rs7.25 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. This brought its overall total till Sunday to Rs18.50 crore, as per figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
This number would have looked decent if the film was made at a moderate budget. But that is not the case here. The makers of Force 2 reportedly spent Rs45 crore, which made it compulsory for the film to keep the tally high. With such numbers over the weekend, there isn’t much chance for the film to recover its cost, leave alone earn profits.
Anubhav Sinha's Tum Bin 2, which also released alongside, has fared much worse. The film earned a paltry sum of Rs65 lakh on its opening day. It didn’t see much growth on Saturday and Sunday as it earned only Rs80 lakh and Rs1 crore. The film is reportedly made in Rs12 crore. Despite such low cost, it is sure to be a loss-making venture.
