Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's much-awaited Jagga Jasoos is finally up and running. The first look of the film was released on Monday, Children's Day, with Kapoor playing the kid to perfection.

Wearing his school uniform and dancing on the bench, Kapoor looks every bit the teenage nerds we were in school. The round glasses, V-neck sweater, and half pants in the dorm room have a very Harry Potter-ish vibe.
This new movie still follows the last video put out by the cast and crew, with Kaif, miming to the film's theme music. Considering the public breakup between the two actors, it is not surprising that even the promotional strategy has been planned to keep with them apart.

Kapoor plays a teenage detective, while Kaif plays his sidekick in the film. Some rumours suggest that the film would revolve around the search for Kapoor's father. It is speculated that Govinda might play the missing character.
The film has been in the news for a long time for all the wrong reasons. The numerous delays, and the bitter break up between the lead pair added to the woes of Basu's film. However, the team seems to be back on track. Kapoor even skipped his birthday party on 29 September to work on the shoot of Basu's film. Originally scheduled to release in 2014, the film is expected to release in April next year.
