It is official. Sushant Singh Rajput has broken up with long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. While confirming reports about the breakup, the actor has rubbished the reasons cited for the breakup, saying he and Ankita Lokhande simply grew apart.

Tales of the rift between the couple first appeared when Ankita Lokhande tweeted that for the first time she had learned to fall in love with herself.

Since then various rumours about the breakup and the reasons for it have been doing the rounds.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande met on their extremely popular TV show Pavitra Rishta. Soon their friendship blossomed into love. Their breakup comes as a surprise for die-hard fans as not too long ago it was widely rumoured that they were going to get married.
