Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone stole the show with their performances in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani (2015). Since then, the careers of these two beautiful ladies has taken off. Padukone has been preparing for her Hollywood debut alongside Vin Diesel and Samuel L Jackson in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, while Chopra has had her hands full with the movie version of Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson. Their competition remains just as fierce overseas as at home.

At the recent IIFA gala in Madrid, Spain, the two even shared the stage and looked comfortable with each other. However, there were rumours that the organizers wanted both women to groove on stage to the hit track 'Pinga' from Bajirao Mastani. That this did not come through added fuel to the rumours of the cold war between them.

Speaking at the launch of the Maxim Hot 100 cover, Chopra clarified that all is well between her and Padukone. Surprised at the rumours, she said, "I thought you guys used to say we are friends. How, when and why did that change?"

When some in the media tried to suggest that maybe Chopra could provide the answer, the Baywatch star shot back, "I didn't say it, you guys are saying something has changed. I am just clarifying that nothing has changed between us."

She added, "We are just the way we used to be. Your outlook/perception has changed, which you should not change."

Now, that is one way to clear the air.
