Republic day 2016 was the day when Ajay Devgn starrer Baadshaho, Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil were supposed to clash at the box office. This had created quite a stir in trade circles. But the big war has now been avoided as the release date of Bhushan Kumar-produced Baadshaho has been pushed to 12 May.

We hear that Raees producer Ritesh Sidhwani and Kaabil's producer Rakesh Roshan approached Bhushan Kumar, requesting him to push the release of Baadshaho.

Kumar accepted their request to shift the date, considering their long standing relationship. The makers of Kabil and Raees were already chalking out their individual plans to deal with the box office clash when Milan Luthria-directed Baadshaho also lined up to hit the theatres on the same day.

Unfortunately, there are not enough screens in India to accomodate the release of three big fims. But fans will still have the Kaabil versus Raees battle to look forward to early next year.
