Dishoom gets hit with a ban in Pakistan

It seems like the censors in Pakistan aren't taking kindly to Indian films. After Sultan and Udta Punjab, Rohit Dhawan's latest action flick, Dishoom, is facing the ire of the Pakistani censor board. The film has been pulled up for its 'Anti-Pak' sentiment.
Dishoom tells the story of an Indian and a UAE police officer on the trail of a Pakistani assassin who has kidnapped the captain of the Indian cricket team on the eve of an important match. This plot has not gone down very well on the other side of the border.
However, the Dishoom team disagrees with this opinion. Varun Dhawan tweeted his disappointment on hearing the news. His tweet clarified that it does not show 'any country in a bad light'.
Really upset that #Dishoom is banned in pakistan. I don't think the film eventually shows any country in a bad light. It's a wrong decision— Varun JUNAID dhawan (@Varun_dvn) July 30, 2016
The ban is far from a singular incident. News reports suggest that the film might also run into troubled waters in certain Middle Eastern countries for its content.
In an earlier interview with a national daily, the actor had mentioned wanting to visit the neighbouring country. The actor was quoted as saying, "Hindi films are loved in Pakistan and he told me that they watch all our movies and hoped that I would visit Pakistan someday. I told him that I would definitely like to come. Just recently our Prime Minister too visited Pakistan."
From the current situation, it looks like Varun might have to put that visit on hold for later.
