Others might find it better to unwind on their birthdays, but composer Himesh Reshammiya is busy working. In a recent announcement, Andy Singh, CEO HR Musik, revealed that the company plans to launch a huge project titled 'Himesh and the Jewels of India'. The studio album will contain 730 of the landmark songs composed by Himesh Reshammiya, and also feature some of the leading singers of the country.

Composer-actor , who has had a good last year with Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo (2015) and Sanam Teri Kasam (2016), is all set to celebrate his 43rd birthday today. HR Musik's press release also announced that the album will include 'memorable compositions, outstanding singers, biggest videos, and huge marketing plans'. The composer-actor will also be seen in the sequel to Xpose, The Xpose 2, and Heeriye. Heeriye will see him alongside another director-actor, Tigmanshu Dhulia.

This will be Himesh's return to studio albums after the breakout success of his first release, Aap Ka Surroor, in 2006. Himesh is also set to don a new look for the album. Currently, Himesh is touring Durban for a show. He is expected to return in August and start filming for the projects.

Looks like it will be a busy year for Himesh. Either way, we wish him a happy birthday!
