Vicky Kaushal's brother set to debut with Shailendra Singh's road movie: Teaser

They say sibling rivalry is a powerful motivator. It certainly seems to be for Sunny Kaushal. The actor follows his brother Vicky Kaushal into the limelights with Shailendra Singh's next directorial debut, Sunshine Music Tours and Travels. 

A typical road movie, Singh refrained from branding it 'independent cinema'. Speaking to a leading daily, he said, "My first directorial venture has everything that I was looking for in a Bollywood film -- mauj, masti and masala (fun, entertainment and spice) along with a new journey in Bollywood for Sunny." 

The director also revealed that Sunny kept his surname hidden while auditioning for the role. It was only after bagging the role that he revealed himself as Vicky Kaushal's brother. The actor is also the son of Shyam Kaushal, a stunt director, who has worked on films like Slumdog Millionaire. 

The film, Sunshine Music Tours and Travels, looks to be a musical road movie centred around youngsters. The film has been shot at several exotic locations like Manali, Kashmir and Goa, and promises to be an interesting watch. The newly released teaser offers a glimpse into the chaotic, but stylish, filmmaking style of the director. 

Sunshine Music Tours and Travels is set to release on 2 September this year.
