There are some things that never go out of fashion on the internet. Nostalgia is one such thing. Rahul Bose certainly tapped into the perfect sentiment when promoting his directorial venture, Poorna, today. Poorna is Bose's second venture as a director, and tells the story of a poor tribal girl who became the youngest person to scale Mount Everest in 2014.
To promote his film, Bose trended the hashtag #WhenIWas13 by talking about the fondest memories of his teenage years. Soon, the internet took over and users were responding with their own sweet memories of their teen years. Here's some that caught our eye.
It started when the actor posted a picture of his younger self on his social media account.
Soon, Shabana Azmi tweeted this back.
I used to wear white ,place a candle under my chin and go around Janki Kutir singing naina barse @ la woh kaun thið https://t.co/fo43buxMkp— Azmi Shabana (@AzmiShabana) July 19, 2016
Here's Harsha Bhogle with a memory of his own.
Being Cyrus director Homi Adajania tweeted another memory of himself with Rahul Bose, playing rugby we assume.
So did Tara Sharma.
Other users were already on to it by then
And this one certainly brought back memories of 'scrap'
You just can't ring in the '90s without Shaktimaan now, can you?
If the response to his film is anywhere close to the Twitter one, Rahul Bose can rest assured it will connect with the audience.
