Imran Khan made his debut 7 years ago with Abbas Tyrewala's Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na. He has, since then, seen his star wane slowly but surely, thanks in no small part to films like Kidnap and Luck. He has had some luck with films like I hate Luv Stories and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, but the last three years have been cruel to his career, thanks to flops like Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola, Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara, Gori Tere Pyar Mein and Katti Batti.
This looks like a bleak birthday for the star, after losing a Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Kalyaana Samayal Saadham.
