The rise and rise of Priyanka Chopra as a global superstar continues. In the latest rankings for most popular celebrities by the online database, IMDb, Chopra has stepped past the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Watson and Johnny Depp to hold an impressive ranking of  55.

Chopra's ranking is made all the more significant with the presence of Friends' star Jennifer Aniston on 56, and Harry Potter actress Emma Watson on 63. Chopra has also beaten out some true blue Hollywood elite in this ranking, with DiCaprio at 77 and Depp at 81.

Chopra is the only Indian celebrity in the top 100 rankings. Also, based on page views of the site's 250 million monthly visitors, Chopra is IMDb's top Indian star of 2016.

With her television series Quantico a runaway success and her next film Baywatch set to release, it is no surprise that Chopra has become one of the most recognised Indian faces abroad. However, her only Indian competition, Deepika Padukone did not make the list.

The top rank is held by Sofia Boutella, who will be seen with Tom Cruise in The Mummy, while Chopra's Baywatch co-star Alexandra Daddario made it to the top five.

Now that she is back in India, Chopra might look to do some celebrating on her own. Finishing above Aniston and DiCaprio is always a good way to celebrate homecoming.
