Actor Kamlesh Pandey passed away yesterday after he reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun. He was a television actor who was known for his work in the crime show, Crime Patrol. The incident took place at his residence in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.

According to reports, some days back, his wife's niece was married off and Kamlesh wasn't invited. The late actor was upset over the incident. Therefore, he reportedly got in a drunken state and created a scene. He then took out his gun, shot a bullet into the air and the next one to himself in the chest.

He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Reports state that Anjani and her sister were present during the time of the incident. The police are still investigating to confirm whether the incident was indeed a suicide.

It is ironic that Pandey's death is similar to the incidents portrayed in his serial Crime Patrol. The incident also brings back memories of producer Brij Sadanah, who shot his family and himself in a drunken state in 1990. His son, actor Kamal Sadanah, had managed to escape.
