With mish-mash lyrics, 'Beat Pe Booty' has its own vibe

The new song from A Flying Jatt is bound to have you shake your booty.

A couple of days ago, one was enamoured by the Matrix revolution of Jacqueline Fernandez in the teaser of the 'Beat Pe Booty' song from her upcoming film A Flying Jatt with Tiger Shroff in the lead.

The entire track is out now, and contrary to some expectation, there isn't much Matrix-style dancing or rigorous shaking of the booty. The track laden with quirky lyrics, penned by Vayu and composed by Sachin-Jigar. is crooned by Kanika Kapoor. The song has a mishmash of Hindi and some English words. Flow- low, deewani-paani, girl-twirl, spiral-viral, desi-videsi, just some of the odd rhymes you will find in 'Beat Pe Booty'.

Evidently, Sachin-Jigar and Vayu know which way the vayu (wind) is blowing when it comes to the youth. While the lyrics may not be great, the music is peppy and the choreography by director Remo D’Souza is largely contemporary with a touch of hip-hop. Tiger Shroff and Fernandez are great dancers and they have just given another example of their prowess. If one is to summarise the song in a few words, 'Beat Pe Booty' is extremely bootylicious and has a vibe of its own.

A Flying Jatt releases on 25 August 2016. Enough said about the track, go watch and groove to ‘Beat Pe Booty’ here.
