Will Shahid Kapoor replace Sushant Singh Rajput?

The casting of Mohit Suri's Half Girlfriend is intriguing. Sushant Singh Rajput has reportedly opted out of the project, and some reports say the filmmakers have gone back to their original choice of Shahid Kapoor.
Shahid was to play the Bihari lover boy, apparently, until his film Shaandaar bombed and the producers went to Sushant Singh Rajput. The latter has reportedly given away the same dates to Dinesh Vijeyan for his directorial debut though, so Half Girlfriend has gone back to Shahid.
