Salman Khan is a free man

The Bombay High Court has acquitted Salman Khan of all criminal charges relating to the now infamous 13-year old hit-and-run case.

Justice A.R. Joshi said that the 'prosecution has failed to prove charges against Khan on all counts'. Apparently, he asserted that the court had come to the conclusion that the prosecution failed to bring material on record to establish beyond reasonable doubt that the appellant was driving and under the influence of alcohol, also, whether the accident occurred due to the bursting of a tyre prior to the incident or after the incident.

Salman Khan, who was present in the court during the verdict, along with his sister Alvira Khan-Sharma and her husband Aayush Sharma, reportedly had tears of joy and relief.
